Hi there! I’m Maya: a public affairs strategist, storyteller, and advocate with a heart for people and a practice rooted in diplomacy, equity, and empathy.

Over the last several years, I’ve worked across borders and sectors from leading crisis communications at a consulate to building storytelling campaigns around human rights, education, and public trust. I’ve partnered with policymakers, community organizers, artists, and academics to craft communications that don’t just inform, but connect.

My work lives at the intersection of public service and public feeling. It's all about how we build trust and community, how we engage meaningfully across difference, and how policy becomes personal and impactful.
